Sunshine & Stories: New Book Club Kits from the Cochrane Public Library to Make Your Summer a Breeze!

The Cochrane Public Library is excited to announce the addition of 17 new book club kits to its collection, generously sponsored by Inter Pipeline. These kits are designed to foster literacy, connection, and meaningful discussions among readers of all ages within the community.

The expansion of the Library's book club kit collection signifies a commitment to promoting literacy and supporting a culture of reading within Cochrane. Each kit contains multiple copies of a selected title and discussion questions to enhance the reading experience and facilitate engaging conversations.

"We are thrilled to partner with Inter Pipeline to bring these new book club kits to our library patrons," said Monique Fiedler-Sills, Library Director at Cochrane Public Library. "These kits will provide our community with opportunities to explore diverse stories, share perspectives, and connect with one another."

Seven of the newly acquired kits are specifically tailored for school-aged children, offering engaging titles to keep young readers enthralled during the summer months. With a variety of genres and themes, these kits aim to spark a love of reading and support continued learning outside the classroom.

“We have started using these kits in our book clubs for children and adults, and we are so excited to make them available to the public in time for summer,” says Program and Engagement Manager, Carmen Erison. “Our Summer Reading Club is just around the corner, and this is another fun way to ensure children are still learning over the summer.”
