Our Author Talk series features local and visiting authors and allows for idea exchange. Each author brings their own flavour, a talk, a reading, a presentation. Light refreshments will be served and there is often an opportunity for book signing. Register and join us for an enlightening and engaging evening in the Library's Rotary Lounge.

December 5: Ian Glasgow, author of Guardian at the Gate: Lessons from a Cape Breton Childhood and David Millar owner of Melting Tundra Publishing

Join us on Thursday December 5, 6:30-7:30 p.m. to meet local author Ian Glasgow and owner of Melting Tundra Publishing, David Millar. Ian will talk about his memoir Guardian at the Gate: Lessons from a Cape Breton Childhood and David will explain how he and Ian self-published the book, as well as the benefits and pitfalls of self-publishing.
