This button
allows you to go back to page(s) you previously visited.
Forward
Allows you
to move forward to next page if you have previously gone backward.
Stop
Some webpages take a long time to download.
If you want to stop downloading, you can click this button and return
later to that page.
Refresh
This button
brings a new, fresh copy of a web page to you. Click the refresh button if
you think information may have changed since your last visit. For
example, a sports score or stock price may change and refresh will bring
the latest content.
Home
Your home
page automatically displays on your screen when you start Internet
Explorer. After visiting web pages, click the home button to return home.
Search
This button
is at the top of the browser window. Click this to search for pages of
interest on the web. A search area appears that lets you select a search
category.
Favorites
When you
find an interesting web site, this button will open the favorites menu so
you can choose to add a site to your list or organize your favorite sites
from here.
History
Provides a
list of recently visited pages at specific web sites.
Print
This prints
a hard copy of the page(s) you are viewing (instead of pulling down the
File menu and selecting print) but be sure you know how many pages
and copies you are printing. Maybe you only need pages 1-2. You may want
to use print preview to confirm your selection of pages, copies and
properties.
